About Me

I hope you will take the time to explore this site, read my resume and a few of my articles.

My passion is research, writing, science and math. You can read my articles regularly at my examiner.com page. For the most part, the photos included with my articles are my own. It is my practice to provide photographs with my articles whenever possible.

I have a degree in Chemistry from Clemson University, and write in the science field with proficiency. I also enjoy writing articles about kids, family and the home.

It has been said that a good writer can write anything, and I find that I can write most any nonfiction. If I can understand it, I can write about it.

Fiction, on the other hand, eludes me. I guess I have an analytical mind. I do very well with factual information, not so well with creative endeavors such as marketing jingles and dialogue.
